NCOA Football

NCOA Sacramento Football is an organization of officials committed to providing quality officials to the member schools of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section. We provide officials for freshman, sophomore and varsity football games. Typically, the freshman games are played are played on Thursday with the sophomore and varsity teams playing either Friday or Saturday.

Primarily, we are a training organization for people who are interested in officiating high school football. Our first priority is to make sure every official knows the rules and the intent of the rules of the National Federation High School football rulebook.

Our second priority is to make sure every official knows the mechanics of our association to be used while working the games. Our third priority is to make sure every game is officiated fairly as dictated by the rules and in the true spirit of sportsmanship in high school athletics.

We provide football officials to approximately 80 schools as far south as Galt; as far west as Vallejo; as far north as Yuba City, Grass Valley and Colfax; and as far east as Placerville. We have approximately 180 officials in our association.

Our main purpose is to provide the best trained, skilled, and conscientious football officials possible for the high schools.
