Official's College

1.      Rotating Class Concept

G-Class officials are "enrolled" into officials college.  Students will be assigned to a single classroom for the six week nights of class.  The class focus is on NCOA mechanics and application of rules in game scenarios.  Each class will cover situations and reviews related to NCOA mechanics and citations from  the National Federation Football Rulebook.

2.      Assigned Instructors

Each class will be taught by the same instructors, who will rotate to the different class.  This approach delivers the exact same perspective on mechanics and experience to every student.

3.      Rules Self Study Approach

Classes focus on practical application of rules and mechanics.  As experienced officials, our expectation is that you will self study the rules or join a study group to hone and sharpen your overall individual knowledge of rules and NCOA Football Mechanics.  Prior to each class, individual officials should review the class syllabus to determine mechanics and rules book focus, and come to class prepared to discuss topics and scenarios as defined by the syllabus.  Class Instructors will issue a short test during the last 15 minutes of each class covering topics of discussion each evening.  Performance scores on the test will be used to evaluate and define future class content, and will be shared with the rating committee.
